Gadwin PrintScreen Free 4.6

There's no need for a long story with Gadwin PrintScreen. The program's name is self-explanatory and intuitive, but there are a few extra features that make it really interesting.

If you want it on your computer, you have to download the 2.75 Mb kit and install it. It shouldn't take too long either downloading or installing. In under a minute you'll have a 2.75 print screen key installed. But it's no ordinary key. It can be customized in many ways.

In case you're a bit slow and haven't figured it out yet, this is a software for creating screenshots. When you run it, the program won't bug you in any way. It will sit quietly in the system tray. You won't find much of an interface with Gadwind PrintScreen except the options menu which isn't that complicated. The settings are all sorted by category and you can access them by clicking on the buttons on the left side of the window.

There is quite a number of ways you can set the program. You can set a certain hot key, a delay before the capture, choose if notification windows should show up or not and many more. You can set one of four areas to be captured: an active window, client window, a rectangular area or the whole screen and you can opt if the mouse cursor should show up or not.

An interesting feature lets you not only set the screenshot's format, but also automatically resize the captured image, maintain its aspect ration, insert a grey scale, an image shadow and/or a stamp. Every single setting can be made in a basic way just by clicking check boxes, choosing from drop menus, or browsing for a folder.

Pros:
For a screenshot utility, Gadwin PrintScreen lets you manipulate your results using some really useful options which are easy to get to.

Cons:
You can take a screenshot of everything except the program's own options menu. Maybe it's camera shy.
